Ingredients

  • 4 strips thick cut bacon
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • Cover a baking tray with aluminum foil and place a rack on the tray.
  • On a plate, toss together the brown sugar, chilli flakes and cinnamon.
  • Dredge each piece of bacon in the brown sugar mixture making sure the bacon is covered with sugar on both sides.
  • Place the pieces of bacon on the rack.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, flip then bake for another 15-20 minutes depending on how crispy you like your bacon. Watch the bacon closely towards the end so that the sugar doesn’t burn.
  • Remove the bacon from the rack and place on a plate to cool slightly before inhaling.
