Welcome to my blog! I’m Alana and I love all things Victoria, food, and travel. I have lived in Victoria, BC, Canada since the summer of 2015 and fell in love with this city as soon as I stepped off the ferry.
I trained as a pastry chef in my younger days and discovered a passion for delicious eats and treats. I love eating at tasty restaurants (at home and abroad) as much as I love puttering around my own kitchen, experimenting with ingredients and creating recipes.
When I am not cooking or baking, I am probably planning a holiday (tbh I have like, the next five trips planned already…). I have travelled to a handful of countries — Italy, Mexico, India, Portugal, and Costa Rica; and I can’t wait to see more of the world!
I am a baker, a cook, a traveller, a wife, and a cat mom. I live in Victoria with my husband and two tabby cats, Kevin and Phillip.
