Hot fudge sauce is the quintessential ice cream topping. This recipe is dreamily luxurious and imo, best enjoyed with vanilla ice cream and sprinkles or chopped salted peanuts.
Easy peasy.
This recipe is so quick and easy that when I am craving a sundae, I have no issues with whipping this up and having the best hot fudge in only a few short minutes. Of course, ice cream is the obvious choice for this fudgy sauce, but I also often serve it with fruit as a sort of fondue-esque dessert. And now that I’m thinking about it, it would also make for a tasty milkshake or as a sweetener in a fancy coffee… yum. The possibilities are endless.
