My dad’s signature cocktail is a paralyzer. And if he’s out at his cabin, it’s pretty much guaranteed that he’ll have a paralyzer in hand. So when he came out to Victoria to visit me, I was inspired to make him an extra special paralyzer. Therefore this boozy coke float was born. And she is dangerously delicious. 


Boozy Dessert.

Imo boozy desserts are the best way to end a meal. Ice cream is my favourite dessert so it only makes sense to drop a scoop in this cocktail. Paralyzers are typically made with vodka, coffee liqueur, cola and cream. Swapping out the cream for ice cream is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I dare you not to love it. I bet it would also be yummy with chocolate ice cream too… then you’d have a mocha delight on your hands. YUM.

Paralyzer Cocktail Float

Paralyzers are typically made with vodka, coffee liqueur, cola and cream. Swapping out the cream for ice cream is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I dare you not to love it.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz vodka
  • 2 oz coffee liqueur like Kahlúa
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • cola or diet cola for topping

Instructions

  • Add the vodka and coffee liqueur to a glass.
  • Carefully add a scoop of ice cream.
  • Top with cola. The cola will make the drink foam up quite a bit so add it slowly and continue topping up once the foam settles down.
  • Launch into boozy, cola float heaven.
