Sweet, sour and refreshing, this cocktail is like a lemon tart in a glass. If you love citrus beverages, then you will be drinking this all summer long. Hopefully with a side of Italian antipasti.

Summer Citrus Sour
Ingredients
Cocktail
- 1½ oz vodka
- 1 oz limoncello liqueur
- 1 oz citrus simple syrup recipe follows
- ice
- lemon and lime slices for garnish
Citrus Simple Syrup
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ¼ cup lime juice
- 2 tbsp sugar
Instructions
- Make the citrus simple syrup: place juices and sugar in a measuring cup. Place in the microwave and heat for 1 minute. Stir syrup and microwave for 1 more minute. Stir again until sugar is dissolved and set aside to cool. Alternatively, you can combine the water and sugar in a small saucepan and heat until the sugar has dissolved.
- To make the cocktail: to a glass add the vodka, limoncello and simple syrup. Stir to combine.
- Top with ice.
- Garnish with a lemon and lime slice.
